4-Ingredient Crock Pot Shredded Beef

This crock pot shredded beef is SO easy. It takes just 4 ingredients and is freezer friendly too!

  • Butter or spray the bottom of your slow cooker insert.
  • Place the roast in the crockpot, sprinkle with the steak seasoning, toss in the garlic and pour the beef stock around the edges.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

Freezer Meal Directions:

  • Pre-label your freezer bag(s).
  • Put the garlic, beef broth and steak seasoning directly in the bag. Zip closed and knead and shake to combine.
  • Unzip the bag, insert the roast.
  • Zip closed and squeeze out as much air as you can.
  • Lay flat and freeze for up to 3 months.
  • Defrost in the refrigerator overnight before cooking. Or, if cooking frozen add 2 hours to your cook time.

Notes

Making a yummy dipping sauce for this sandwich meat is super easy too! Just grab your Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce and add a bit to the crockpot drippings.
If you'd prefer a richer flavor, you can add a pat or two of real butter.
