Super Easy Peach Cobbler Recipe

Oven version: To make this recipe in the oven you'll need all the same ingredients and follow the directions in the same order. Just preheat the oven to 350 degrees and bake for 45 to 60 minutes. It's yummy either way but the crockpot version tastes sorta "softer".

Ingredients

  • 1 large can of sliced peaches in heavy syrup
  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick of butter softened
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon & sugar mix
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Salted Caramel Topping

Instructions

  • Use a couple tablespoons of the butter to grease the inside of the crockpot
  • Drain most of the liquid off the peaches and save it...you'll need it in just a minute
  • Dump the peaches in the slow cooker
  • Evenly spread the cake mix over the top of the peaches
  • Cut the butter into decently even "pats" (about 1/2 tablespoon on the butter stick) and layer them over the cake mix
  • Drizzle with the reserved peach syrup from step 2 and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar
  • Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours (it depends a lot on the amount of syrup)
  • It's done when it looks brownish on top and the cake is set soft
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream an salted caramel topping!
