Pork Roast with Sauerkraut and Kielbasa

This sauerkraut and kielbasa recipe adds a pork roast for an even heartier meal.

  • 2- pound pork loin roast
  • 1 pound kielbasa
  • 4 pounds sauerkraut cut into chunks
  • 2 teaspoons thyme leaves
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste


  • Lay the pork loin in a buttered or oiled crock pot
  • Tuck pieces of kielbasa around the edges
  • Sprinkle on the thyme and pour the sauerkraut over the top
  • Cover and cook on low at least 7 hours
